YOGA IN THE PARK WITH CANDIDE

Join the cast of CANDIDE AMERICANA for an afternoon in the sun exploring the best of all possible positions.

RABBIT HOLE ENSEMBLE is inviting friends and strangers to meet the cast of the upcoming world premiere of CANDIDE AMERICANA for a day of yoga in Central Park (Great Hill). The event will take place on Saturday, July 18th at 4pm, with a rain date of Saturday, July 25th at 4pm. Yoga instructor Jeffery Taylor will lead the class in an hour and a half of Vinyasa Yoga as we Salute the Sun and Cat-Cow with Candide.

Jeffery Taylor has been teaching yoga for eight years, with clients including New York Sports Club and the Miami City Ballet.

The event is open to all levels of yoga practitioners—beginners welcome! Please bring your own mat or towel.

Sunday, Jan. 18th: Talkback with Dr. Christopher Bayer

Dr. Bayer will be discussing Fear--a prominent theme in Shadow of Himself.

CHRISTOPHER BAYER, Ph.D., is a clinical psychologist in independent practice. He also has a certificate of specialization in psychotherapy and psychoanalysis from the NYU Postdoctoral Psychology Program (1982). He has worked in psychiatric hospitals, community mental health centers, and correctional facilities. Other areas of interest include forensics, research and consultation, and psychological testing and assessment. He has published in a variety of areas including perception and psychophysics, prison programing, behavior therapy, and business management. Recent articles have focused on a witness preparation model (the Nassau Lawyer), and the development of a business construct (Toxic Product Syndrome) posted on the Social Science Research Network. He is completing a book entitled "Beyond Survival: the Stockbroker's Journey."

Sunday, Jan. 25th: Talkback with Dr. Marion Wrenn

Dr. Wrenn will be joining us to discuss the topic of Masculinity.

MARION WRENN, PhD., is a cultural historian and media critic who holds a PhD from NYU's Department of Culture and Communication. She is Co-Editor of the Painted Bride Quarterly and teaches writing at NYU, where she is on the faculty of the Expository Writing Program.
